Instructor & Vehicle

  • The student’s tutor will be a fully qualified ADI on the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency) register of Approved Driving Instructors.
  • The training vehicle will be kept in a roadworthy, safe, and legal condition at all times.
  • Each training session will last a minimum of one hour.

Lesson Disruptions

  • The School is not responsible for lesson cancellations due to mechanical breakdown but will endeavour to provide a replacement vehicle promptly.
  • Lessons may be terminated immediately if the student is suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  • Persistent cancellations by the student may result in course termination, with outstanding balances charged at the current lesson rate.

Use of Vehicle for Driving Test

  • The School reserves the right to withdraw use of the training vehicle for a driving test if the instructor believes the student's driving is unsafe.
  • The School also reserves the right to refuse use of the training vehicle if a test booked by the student conflicts with another scheduled through the School.

Student Responsibilities

  • All students must hold a valid UK provisional, full, or other driving license entitling them to drive the training vehicle.
  • By agreeing to these terms, the student confirms they are not affected by any medical condition, disability, or medication that could impair driving ability—or that such details have been disclosed to both the instructor and DVLA.
  • The School may request additional information to ensure the student’s training can proceed safely.

Cancellations

If a student needs to cancel a lesson, at least 48 hours’ notice is required.

Failure to give adequate notice will result in the full lesson fee being charged.
